Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd is investing $20m with Hughes Avicom Inc that will provide entertainment and airline seat shopping via screens in the backs of seats and a credit card swipe: the system will also offer gaming for sky-high rollers on the London to Hong Kong route – the Hongs are inveterate gamblers – but the move towards the casino in the air has raised an eyebrow or two: once the aircraft is 20 miles out of the airport, unabashed buccaneer Branson told the Financial Times, You can do anything you want – you’ll get the brothel in the sky next.
