Sun Microsystems Inc has won an order from BP Oil for 1,500 licences for Sun’s PC-Network File System, an integrating multi-vendor network system for MS-DOS micros, Unix, minicomputers and mainframes: the contract is the first part of a total of 2,500 to 3,000 licences scheduled to be installed at BP over the next two to three years.
