BOX HILL PUTS ITS EGGS IN OPEN NETWORK STORAGE

By CBR Staff Writer

New York city-based Box Hill Systems Corp has put its Fibre Channel and Ultra SCSI storage solutions under the umbrella of an Open Network Storage family. The line includes ONS 4000, 5000, 8,000 and 9,000 subsystems with up to 1Tb memory for departments and groups and ERP installation, support for all RAID levels, plus its SAN Spanning and Parallel Path redundancy and hot- swapping features, graphical interface and local and remote monitoring. It’s trying hard to be all things to all people and says it can work on Unix and NT alike.
