BOW STREET GETS $3.6M VC FUNDING

By CBR Staff Writer

Bow Street Inc, co-founded by former Tivoli Systems Inc CEO, Frank Moss to take advantage of the burgeoning XML market, has just raised $3.6m in a round of venture capital funding (CI No 3,447). Set up in January this year to provide cross platform document automation using XML, the company now plans to put its new found venture capital funds into both development of its – unnamed – core product, a task for which it appears to be recruiting heavily, and bulking up its management team. Bow Street’s board currently comprises co-founder Jack Serfass, formerly of Preferred Systems Inc; Dave Norman, one of the founders of Dataquest; and venture capitalist, Stephen J Gaal.
