BORLAND UNVEILS JAVA-BASED INTERFACE FOR INTERBASE DATABASE

Borland International Inc has announced InterClient, a Java DataBase Connectivity-compliant interface for its InterBase cross-system SQL database. Written entirely in Java, it contains both client and server elements, and acts as a Web-distributable front-end for InterBase. It is claimed to be the first true Java DataBase Connectivity driver done entirely in Java.
