Borland International Inc reports that consumers ranked it best in overall customer satisfaction in the personal computer application software category of the J D Power & Associates 1991 Computer End User Satisfaction Study for small and medium-sized businesses: the random sample of 1,784 sites with less than 500 employees placed Borland ahead of WordPerfect Corp, Claris Corp and Aldus Corp with Microsoft Corp fifth and Lotus Development Corp sixth; Power names only the companies that score above the industry average in its polls.
