BORLAND TO BUNDLE MIGENT’S POCKET MODEM WITH MACTERM

While gossip persists on the possibility that Amstrad Plc will bundle the Ability spreadsheet from newcomer Migent Inc with its new PC1640 Personalike, the Incline Village, Nevada company formed by Ashton-Tate refugees does have a firm agreement with another star – and name-of-the-moment – on the London market, Scotts Valley-based Borland International Inc: Borland is to bundle Migent’s Pocket Modem for the Macintosh with MacTerm, SideKick’s communications software utility for the Apple box, at $259.
