Borland International Inc is consolidating its organisation and cutting its workforce worldwide by 15% or about 350 people. It says the charge against fourth quarter figures to cover it could reach $35m. The functions of research and development, product management and marketing have been consolidated so that Borland can focus on complete integration of its expanding line.
