Scotts Valley, California-based Borland International Inc has won a contract worth $1.25m with Motorola Inc’s Land Mobile Products unit under which the latter will resell Borland’s InterBase relational database management system as part of its SmartZone wide area communications system, where it will be used to track the information transmitted through the radio-based system.
