Borland International Inc, Scotts Valley, California is hoping to steal a march on Microsoft Corp in the compiler market and has an update to its Borland C++ 4.0 programming language called Chicago to write programs to run under Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 4.0 operating system, otherwise known as Chicago: it is available to registered C++ 4.0 users on compact disk for $10; Borland has also announced an Early Experience Programme for Borland C++ developers participating in Chicago beta tests; participants will get the current C++ upgrade and further versions C++ during the Chicago beta test cycle.
