Borland International Inc, Scotts Valley, California has picked up two professional programming tools from the Solution Systems division of Software Developer’s Co Inc, Monterey. Under the agreement Borland would own, develop and market Brief, tagged the most popular professional programmer’s editor on the market, and Sourcerer’s Apprentice, a network version control system that manages the building of large software projects. Under terms of the agreement, for which no value was given, closing of the transaction is subject to conditions.
