With a nod in the direction of its UK shareholders, Borland International Inc chose London for launch of the Quattro Pro for Windows spreadsheet, bundling it with the existing Quattro Pro 4.0 for MS-DOS, at UKP300, $500 in the US. That price matches that for Lotus Development Corp’s 1-2-3 for Windows 1.1 alone.
