Borland International Inc, the Scotts Valley, California software company whose shares are quoted on the Unlisted Securities Market here in London, is bubbling with excitement over the market response to its new Quattro: The Professional Spreadsheet: it says it has received orders for more than 50,000 copies of during the first two weeks since official release and expects to fulfill those plus additional orders by the end of December – far exceeding its announced goal of shipping 50,000 copies of the product during the first six months after its release.
