BORLAND APPOINTS STEPHEN DOW

By CBR Staff Writer

Borland International Inc, Scotts Valley, California has appointed Stephen Dow, a partner with Sevin Rosen Management Co to its board. Dow holds a number of directorships in portfolio companies funded by Sevin Rosen. Dow took a two-year leave from Sevin Rosen to serve as president and chief executive of Ansa Software from October 1984 until November 1986, and to direct the company in its start-up activities. Ansa Software became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Borland – quoted on the Unlisted Securities Market here – last September.
