Scotts Valley, California-based Borland International Inc has launched Turbo Pascal for Windows, designed to streamline Windows development through the use of ObjectWindows, an object-oriented Application Program Interface that reduces the amount of code required for Windows 3.0 applications: it runs in protected mode on an 80286 or higher and requires a hard disk, 2Mb memory, EGA, Hercules, or VGAgraphics and mouse or other pointing device; it costs $250, and will be available any day now – and $100 for a short time for registered users of any of Borland’s languages.
