Booz Allen Awarded $10.7 Million Contract To Support PKI Implementation In Air Force

COMAPNY PRESS RELEASE : Booz Allen & Hamilton has been awarded a $10.7 million contract from the US Air Force's Electronic Systems Center to support implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) throughout the service.

The contract was won competitively by the firm.

Under the terms of the contract, Booz Allen will provide PKI registration to more than 700,000 personnel deployed across more than 100 Air Force installations worldwide and will support other PKI security engineering and training services. Users will be given digital certificates that can verify their identity and encrypt data in e-mails and serve as an electronic signature.
