Google has awarded about $9m in bonuses and another $50m in equity to its four top executives, the company said in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Google chief financial officer Patrick Pichette received a $2.7m bonus and $15m in equity. Chief business officer Nikesh Arora received a $2.7m bonus and $20m in equity.
Google senior vice-president for engineering and research Alan Eustace got a $1.8m bonus and $10m in equity, while senior vice-president for product management Jonathan Rosenberg received a $1.7m bonus and $5m in equity.
Pichette has nearly 20 years of experience in financial operations and management in the telecommunications sector, including seven years at Bell Canada.
Since joining Google in 2004, Arora has held several positions with the company. Most recently, he led Google’s global direct sales operations.
Both Eustace and Rosenberg joined Google in 2002.
Schmidt received a $100m in equity in January shortly after he announced his plans to step down as CEO. Page is to replace Schmidt in April.
