The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based BBN Software Products Corp unit of Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc has formed a strategic alliance with neighbour Belmont Research Inc and has invested in the software development company, with which it has been working for five years, developing the Clintrial and ClinTRACE clinical research applications; the alliance between the two companies will include joint technology development, consulting and collaboration on innovative new software.
