Guildsoft Ltd, the Ivybridge, Plymouth-based distributor, has released the Bodyworks Voyager software developed by Software Marketing Corp. It is a new game for children up to the age of 12 that is based on the Bodyworks 3.0 body examination software for the healthcare market. The player is shrunk down to the size of a pinhead and injected into the body and travels down the bloodstream killing the SuperBugs that are attacking the patient’s body. Each game level represents a different part of the body and the player has to pass a series of quizzes about that area of the body before moving on to the next level. The game has a medical database similar to that of the original BodyWorks software to help children learn as they play. It is available on CD-ROM priced at UKP45.
