BoardSource, provider of tools and resources related to nonprofit boards has partners with StreamLink Software, provider of nonprofit organisations with web-based management software to offer BoardSource Virtual Boardroom, a board management offering to manage and centralise all meeting, communication and board-related documents.

BoardSource said the web-based offering combines BoardSource’s knowledge-based resources with StreamLink’s board management technology.

The new offering provides a central location for documents and communications to establish good governance processes that lead to greater public trust, said BoardSource.

BoardSource chief operating Officer Anne Wallestad said at BoardSource, we know that informed board members are more engaged, effective, and impactful within their organisations.

"But keeping board members up-to-date on everything from calendars to documents to tasks can be challenging. BoardSource partnered with StreamLink because we believe in the ability of portals to improve communication, decrease cost, and increase effectiveness," said Wallestad.

StreamLink Software President and CEO Adam Roth said BoardSource recognises e-Governance is becoming an expectation for boards.

"We launched BoardSource Virtual Boardroom at the recent BoardSource Leadership Conference where 17% of all attendees signed up for BoardSource Virtual Boardroom, an overwhelming response," said Roth.
