BNP Paribas, already a user of Broadridge’s proxy processing services through its France-headquartered global securities services business, has now agreed to use the Broadridge service for the institutional clients of its Australia-based securities services division.
Through the Broadridge service, BNP Paribas and its Australasian clients will be able to benefit from a fully-automated, electronic voting service which supports straight-through processing from account collection and agenda distribution, through to vote processing across a range of international markets. For meetings in Australia and New Zealand, Broadridge will also collate votes for BNP Paribas and send them to local registries for vote execution.
Luc Vassort, head of operations at BNP Paribas Fund Services Australasia, said: “Broadridge brings world class proxy voting technology and services to BNP Paribas and its clients, combined with an unsurpassed level of domain expertise in the field of global proxy processing.
We’ve been particularly impressed by Broadridge’s exceptional focus on service standards and its client-centric approach to delivering on time and to budget through a highly professional, low-risk conversion process.”
Broadridge is a technology services company focused on global capital markets. Broadridge enables secure and accurate processing of information for communications and securities transactions among issuers, investors and financial intermediaries.
