Bayerische Motoren Werke AG has raised its holding in Softlab GmbH, Munich originator of the Maestro applications development environment, to 28% from 10%, at an undisclosed price; Softlab, with sales up 22% to the equivalent of $60.3m in the year to September, says that it plans to increase its nominal share capital, currently $8.7m, by between 33% and 66% early next year with a scrip issue to shareholders.
