BMW IN TALKS WITH HOFFMAN LAROCHE ABOUT BUYING KONTRON

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG is reportedly in talks with Hoffman LaRoche AG about buying the Swiss drugs company’s Kontron GmbH subsidiary: Kontron, which did nearly $200m last year, admitted to IndustrieWoche that its parent had been shopping it around since January.
