BlueModus has expanded its Managed Web Infrastructure Services offering with its Content Delivery Network (CDN) service. The CDN is an Internet Protocol (IP) network service to improve user experience of digital media on the web, ranging from advertising delivery, to streaming video and live web events, the company said.

To facilitate delivery of the CDN services to its partners and clients, BlueModus has formed an alliance with Internap Network Services, an Atlanta-based company that enables route-optimised delivery of content over the internet.

Dave Conder, co-founder and chief technology officer of BlueModus, said: “We are excited to release this new service offering for our clients. Working with Internap, a world-class network service provider, we now offer a secure, scalable, and robust hosting platform to deliver digital content and streaming all over the globe.”

Jean-Marc Porson, channel development manager of Internap Network Services, said: “The Internap Channel Team is delighted to have BlueModus as a new channel partner. BlueMoudus’ unique IT consulting model and deep understanding of Internap’s product suite, particularly our global Content Distribution Network, makes it an ideal partner for us.

In a relatively short time, BlueModus has been successful in positioning our CDN offering with several of its Enterprise clients, expanding and enhancing the solution set it offers globally. BlueModus is smart, focused, and extremely adept at delivering the right solution for its clients’ complex IT needs.”

BlueModus’ CDN unveiling follows the recent debut of its Content Management System (CMS) designed to increase flexibility and scalability of website content control, from simple editing to enterprise-level capabilities.
