Commenting on Blick Plc’s steady growth (see Company Results inside) chairman Alan C Elliot announced that the company has just completed the acquisition of Harrogate based Programs at Work Ltd, an applications software company that is expected to replace its previous computerised time business which has been sold back to the original suppliers; Mr Elliot said that operating profit had continued to rise across all divisions, particularly paging exports following the recent introduction of a new pager, while gross future rentals under contract were up 21.9% at UKP27.8m.
