Word is that the integration of UK show organizer Blenheim plc into its new parent – United News & Media plc’s Miller Freeman – means the Blenheim name falls out of use this week. Insiders say Miller Freeman is likely to hold on to Blenheim’s IT shows such as PC Expo and I2 Expo for at least a year to put some profit on the books before offloading them to a buyer such as Softbank Comdex which is understood to have been eying the Expos for sometime (CI No 3,002).
