Acquisitive networking services firm Black Box Corp has announced the purchase of UK-based Datech Group Plc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Privately-held Datech provides technical design, installation and maintenance services for cabling and related products to customers throughout the UK. It boasts annual revenues of roughly $12m. For Black Box, the deal marks its 25th acquisition since January 1998 and the 11th of this fiscal year. It will be accounted for as a purchase, the Pittsburgh-based company said.
