Bitwise Designs Inc of Troy, New York has launched a personal computer configured as a portable file server for fast set-up or replacement of local area networks: the 20 lbs 80386-based package comes with a built-in 100Mb or 200Mb hard drive and it includes an Ethernet card; the BitWise Model 333 LFS Lunchbox File Server with 100Mb hard drive is $4,500 or $5,000 with a 200Mb hard drive; an 80486-based version will be available later.
