A little bit of bureaucracy died at IBM in the US last week: the one announcement from Tuesday not yet covered here is that a new Agreement for Demonstration of IBM Products at a Customer Site is to be used when offering equipment for demonstration purposes at a customer location: This agreement replaces the letter agreement that was made available December 30, 1986; this new agreement requires only an IBM signature, thus eliminating the need for multiple signatures required under the replaced letter agreement, IBM declares.
