Sales of high-end facsimile machines are booming, according to the British Facsimile Industry Consultative Committee: the BFICC reports that sales of fully featured faxes grew from below 5% in 1988, to over 10% in the first quarter of 1989; in the first quarter, facsimile sales stood at 55,000, 25% higher than for the same period last year.
