Betacom Plc has regularised its status as a company with a full quotation on the London International Stock Exchange by paying Amstrad Plc UKP2m to buy back enough of its shares for cancellation to leave 25% of the equity in the hands of institutions and private investors and available for trading on the exchange; Amstrad, which made a small loss on the deal, held 71%, which with shares held by insiders meant 78.8% were locked up.
