T3 Corporation, a Fairmont, West Virginia-based provider and reseller of specialized services to government agencies and corporations, acted as an agent for Best Software, enabling FAS Gov programs to be added through its existing General Services Administration (GSA) 70 contract.
Having FAS Gov products listed on the GSA schedule gives government agencies better access to Best Software’s industry-leading fixed asset solutions, said Chris Donie, vice president and general manager, FAS. Being listed on the schedule also offers these organizations a quick and easy way to purchase them online.
Through the renewed contract, all FAS Gov product configurations, professional services, training, barcode hardware and asset labels will be listed on the GSA schedule.
FAS Gov software, including FAS Gov Asset Accounting, FAS Gov Asset Inventory and FAS Report Writer, are specially designed to help state/local government agencies and school organizations manage and track their fixed assets to comply with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements 34/35, which require public sector entities to maintain all fixed-asset records in a complete, accurate, and detailed manner, and report all capital assets with the consideration of depreciation, including infrastructure assets.
The GSA secures the buildings, products, services, technology and other workplace essentials federal agencies need.
