Bertelsmann AG caused a raised eyebrow or two by saying yesterday its recently-announced digital television deal with Bavarian media mogul Leo Kirch was not yet signed and sealed. Bertelsmann director for entertainment and electronic media Michael Dornemann told Stern that the talks over a common decoder and other issues could still fail.
