The market for embedded processors is growing fast, and Berkeley Software Design Inc, Colorado Springs inheritor of the BSD mantle, is to do a version of its BSD/OS as an embedded environment for the PowerPC. It will pitch it at the Network Computer and embedded markets. It is due by mid-year.
