BERKELEY AND NBC TEAM ON CELEBRITY INTERACTIVE GAME SHOW

By CBR Staff Writer

After Dark screensaver author Berkeley Systems Inc – which was quietly acquired by giant software publisher CUC International Inc earlier this year – first got the taste for show business through its splendidly paced interactive gameshow You Don’t Know Jack a few years ago, which employed a real actor to deliver the carefully scripted patter of the gameshow host. Now Berkeley is teaming up with Chicago-based Jellyvision Inc – the company that came up with the original You Don’t Know Jack concept and directs its creative production – and broadcaster NBC for a special themed edition with stars from NBC’s autumn line up, from Seinfield to ER, Veronica’s Closet and Jenny reading out the questions and dialog. The show will go out over Berkeley’s beZerk online entertainment network at www.bezerk.com during the week of September 29.
