Motorola Inc’s Cellular Infrastructure Group has deployed the first wireless telephone network in the Republic of Benin, West Africa. Motorola installed the fixed wireless phone system for Benin’s Office Des Postes et Telecommunications as part of its efforts to extend and improve communication in the country.
