The deal will see the Finnish firm maintain its position as the sole supplier of 2G infrastructure to Ben, T-Mobile’s Netherlands business.
Nokia will deliver 2G core and radio-access network infrastructure to expand the GSM network it has supplied to Ben since 1998. Included in this are GPRS network elements and operational support systems equipment.
Nokia will also provide consulting services for project management, while continuing to provide its ‘KeyCare’ package to maintain network competitiveness.
