More than 150 BellSouth Corp employees are using fully portable, pocket-size telephone handsets in office buildings and on the the streets of midtown Atlanta in a personal communications trial, Reuter reports: the trial is part of the second phase of a pilot started nearly two years by BellSouth’s Worldwide Wireless strategy Group.
