BELLSOUTH SIGNS TO MARKET DEC VAXES

BellSouth Corp, Atlanta, has signed an agreement with DEC under which it will distribute VAX minicomputers for use in networked applications. The agreement initially runs for three years. Both the unregulated BellSouth Enterprises, and the regulated Southern Bell and South Central Bell will be able to sell VAXes, along with products like the All-in-1office software, packaged with the telecommunications product line to create complete turnkey computer and communications systems.
