BellSouth Corp, Atlanta wants to get into the pan-US paging business and has done a deal with CellTelCo Nationwide Paging Partnership, which has been granted a paging licence, to form a joint venture, giving the partnership a 50% stake in return for use of its licence: the service will be marketed by the MobileComm subsidiary of BellSouth, which is also planning to buy a stake in CellTelCo at a later date.
