Bellsouth Corp is to co-market remote access and wide area networking equipment with Ascend Communications Corp under a new agreement covering all of Ascend’s product line, but particularly the Frame Relay, ISDN and asynchronous transfer mode offerings. BellSouth was one of Ascend’s earliest customers. It says its customers are asking for Frame Relay and ATM services, and it wants to be in a position to offer them a complete solution.
