BELL TELEPHONE MANUFACTURING OF ANTWERP GETS ORDER FROM MEXICO

Alcatel NV’s Belgian subsidiary Bell Telephone Manufacturing of Antwerp is to supply half a million lines of its System 12 exchange technology to Mexico’s national digital network: Telmex, the Mexican telecommunications administration is updating the network in two phases, to be completed for 1990 and Indetel, Alcatel’s Mexican arm will do installation and software engineering for the new network.
