BELL CANADA BUYS INTO IBM MAINTENANCE WITH DATAWAY

The Bell Canada International unit of Bell Canada Enterprises is expanding its pan-European third party maintenance operations into the IBM mainframe field with acquisition of Dataway GmbH of Dsseldorf on undisclosed terms. Dataway has 70 employees, and does some $8.7m a year maintaining computers in West Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
