BELL ATLANTIC PREPARE VIDEO-ON-DEMAND ANNOUNCEMENT

Bell Atlantic Corp says it will announce the equipment suppliers for its video-on-demand network in May; the company says it has now successfully tested video-on-demand in Virginia, and that several hundred thousand customers should have the service early next year.
