BELL ATLANTIC, PACIFICORP TO MERGE THEIR COMPUTER LEASING ARMS

Bell Atlantic Capital Corp, Paramus, New Jersey leasing unit of Bell Atlantic Corp, and the PacifiCorp Financial Services Inc unit of PacifiCorp have decided to pool their resources in computer leasing and put their interests into a jointly owned company that will manage their domestic US computer leasing businesses. Pacific Atlantic Systems Leasing Inc will be one of the five largest computer leasing companies in the country: it will be headquartered in Phoenix, with sales and marketing offices US-wide. It is to be born on January 1, 1993.
