US Baby Bell, Bell Atlantic Corp is in talks to join the ADSL consortium sponsored by Microsoft Corp, Intel Corp and Compaq Computer Corp (CI No 3,330), which has already been joined by the other four Baby Bells, and GTE Corp. Bell Atlantic reckons it will be part of the venture when it is announced this week at the Comnet show in New York, reports Reuters.
