Bell Atlantic Corp has encountered technical difficulties and pricing disputes in its effort to build its much-vaunted $11,000m video-on-demand network, reports The New York Times: Bell Atlantic executives told the paper that AT&T Corp and General Instrument Corp had not finished a number of network components and that AT&T was asking for more money as it tried to reach an agreement to make the equipment for the network; Bell Atlantic even said it could not rule out the possibility of replacing AT&T as the project’s chief co-ordinator but was optimistic about an agreement.
