Bell Atlantic Corp has chosen AT&T Corp and General Instrument Corp to equip its new $11,000m multimedia network which is expected to serve over 8m homes by the year 2000; DSC Communications Corp had been negotiating a rival supply agreement for transmission equipment; AT&T will be the primary supplier, systems integrator and project contractor.
