BELL ATLANTIC BUYS INTO AT&E’S RECEPTOR WRISTWATCH PAGING SYSTEM

Bell Atlantic Corp likes the look of AT&E Corp’s Receptor wristwatch paging system and discloses that it has been buying shares in the San Francisco company and made a loan to the company last year, converted into an equity stake of just under 5% – and it may buy more; other investors in AT&E include Cincinnati Bell Inc and France Telecom.
