Bedfordshire County Council has replaced its Bull mainframe with an IBM 9121 Model 260: the two will run in parallel for a number of years, but all new development will be implemented on the IBM machine and existing applications transferred gradually; the deal includes new financial systems and the Council has selected Dun & Bradstreet’s Millenium software; General Ledger and Accounts Payable modules are the first two to be implemented.
